Below is a sampling of keynote presentations and roundtable discussions from this year’s conference.
Our keynote presenter this year was Julia Doria, CMO at Bellevue University (former EVP/CMO Bailey Lauerman). She gave a wonderful presentation titled “Seeing CMO double! How my CMO agency life has informed my CMO client life. How to be a better agency and be a better client!”
In her presentation, Julia shared her experiences working on both sides of the CMO front – as both CMO for Baxter Auto and VP Growth Marketing for Bellevue University and in her former life as an agency EVP/CMO and board member for Bailey Lauerman.
Global Marketing Director at Slalom, Alyssa Lahham, talks about how she has helped build local market successes using global marketing tactics and the importance that independent agencies have played in helping her accomplish this end.
The principles and practices she employs should provide great insight into the things agencies should be doing in general to better their relationships with their clients and operate as more of a strategic partner and not just another marketing service vendor.
Brandon Buttrey leads a panel of our very own New Business Directors in a discussion about the technologies, messaging, targeting, and processes they use to help connect their agency clients with the marketers they want to work with.
The market today is a tough one and simply doing the same thing over and over again isn’t going to cut it. Being creative in your approach to prospecting is central to success.
Eric Anderson, CEO of AEG Vision, shares his experiences using global strategies to build hundreds of local, independent brands.
We most often hear how it’s important to create brand consistency and leverage the equity of a single brand. This is particularly true when you’re operating in a multi-location and/or franchise environment. The last thing you want to do is have franchisees manage the brand to their standards and not to the company’s standards.
AEG Vision empowers eye care professionals to deliver world-class patient care and service by leveraging medical best practices, innovation, and collaboration. They leave the brand alone and have been incredibly successful doing it. Check out this brief overview of Eric’s presentation.
