United Grain Growers (UGG) was a Canadian grain farmers’ cooperative established in 1917 through the merger of the Grain Growers’ Grain Company and the Alberta Farmers’ Co-operative Elevator Company. UGG provided grain marketing, handling, and supply services, becoming a significant force in Canadian agriculture throughout the 20th century. In 2001, UGG merged with Agricore to form Agricore United, further consolidating its role in the industry.
