User Experience

Easy to navigate?

Overall, the user experience is solid on PCR’s site.
The agency did a nice job providing prospects with the ability to filter work on the site, allowing the prospect to find what they’re looking for, relative to type of outcome.
It would be helpful for the prospect to have a category filter in the work section to make it easier to find the work that is relevant to the prospect category-wise. PCR does offer it up in the logo block section, which is a good thing, but would also be nice to have it in the work sections.
The agency makes it easy to move to/from different case studies, versus having to go back to the main case study/work page. The last thing an agency wants to do is make the prospect work to see their work!
The only issue from a functionality standpoint is that when a prospect clicks on a blog and then click on “Insights” from any blog page, they get a 404. PCR needs to fix that!

Results-centric

Shows value of what agency can do?

PCR also does a really nice job of leaving the prospect with a good feeling about the agency’s ability to deliver the goods.
PCR’s home page screams results-centric. Obviously, the key is paying it out. Any agency can talk all they want about being results- focused, but if the work on the site doesn’t deliver, it certainly doesn’t help the cause and will leave the prospect disappointed.
But, in this case…fortunately, the case studies do a great job of showcasing results. Nice job PCR!

Clarity

Gets to the point?

PCR would benefit from a bit of re-organization of their home page to improve clarity, but generally speaking the site is clear and easy to understand.
The case studies present themselves very simply with a clear “Problem/Solutions/Results” outline.
PCR’s services are nicely laid out. The agency has presented them in a way that is simple and easy for the prospect to understand.
While the agency does a nice job of clarifying what kind of firms they work with, PCR buries this information on the bottom of the home page scroll down. Moving that closer to the top would be useful in helping prospects better understand what PCR does.

Positioning

Defines what agency does and how unique?

The only complaint about the site is that PCR doesn’t do a great job of defining what makes the agency different.
PCR says they turn audiences into revenue, which is great, but that in and of itself isn’t very different from what any other digital agency can say about themselves.
A suggestion: While not wildly differentiating, PCR could consider positioning themselves in a way in which they describe themselves. As an example: “We Turn Audiences into Revenue for Legacy and High Growth Brands.” While this statement is fairly broad, it does narrow the definition of the agency’s offering a bit, which will make it easier for prospects in these types of companies to better relate to the types of firms PCR works with most often.
Another suggestion: It would be nice if PCR could further substantiate their point of difference by calling out the “things” the agency does, as a reason to believe. Adding some language that suggests that PCR has unique approaches/deliverables for each type of company could be a good thing.

Legitimacy

Instills confidence in agency?

PCR has all the right elements to give prospects a solid sense of confidence in the agency’s abilities.
The agency not only does a great job of showcasing results, but also of showcasing their services right alongside case study work specific to that service, which provides a sense of legitimacy.
PCR’s posts on the blog are mostly value-added, which puts PCR in a solid position as a thought leader in their space – which obviously helps build credibility.
The agency does a nice job showcasing its client logos and affirming experience in the prospect’s category by giving them the ability to filter by industry.
And lastly, PCR does a nice job of presenting their team in a simple and convincing way. Making it easy to view an employee’s LinkedIn page in a separate tab helps further legitimize the agency’s expertise.

Consistency

Tells a cohesive story across site?

Generally speaking, the site presents itself in a consistent manner. Nothing surprises, it all follows a similar look and feel.
Only issue is the PCR blog. The last post was in November of last year. Prior to November 2021, they were doing a decent job of keeping a good cadence of value-added content. That has stopped.

Easy to navigate?

This site makes it so easy for the prospect to get what they need.
Scrolling down on the home page, the prospect can very easily see who SFCD is, why they’re better, the work they do, their approach, their client testimonials, and results from their efforts.
One might argue that a long scroll down like this could get tiring, but the way SFCD presents their information (in a simple and easy-to- digest way) makes it more enjoyable for the prospect.
One suggestion for SFCD’s site: Make it easy for the prospect to jump to the top after they finish their enjoyable trip to the bottom of the home page. Not that scrolling up is a task equal to running a 10k, but it would likely prove a bit of a pain for prospects.

Results-centric

Shows value of what agency can do?

SCFD did as good a job as they could do presenting results, given the type of work they perform.
Not every development project they do can be easily tied to results.
With companies like SFCD, “results” can also manifest themselves in the thinking and approach the agency takes to solving the client’s problem. Outlining the detailed work SFCD did is one way of showing the prospect they’re picking the problem apart to get at a good solution. In virtually every case, SFCD did an excellent job of spelling out what they did, how they did it, and why.
By doing this, it is sure to leave the prospect with a sense of confidence that SFCD knows how to dissect a problem and deliver a great end-product.

Clarity

Gets to the point?

SFCD is very deliberate in letting the prospect know who they are and what they do right on the top of the fold, which is a good thing.
As the prospect scrolls down off the top of the fold and passes the showcases of work, they do get a better sense of where SFCD plays: Start-ups, Enterprise, and other agencies.

SFCD does a reasonably good job of defining their point of difference, but there are a couple of suggestions we have.
On the home page, SFCD talks about themselves as being “one of the top UI/UX agencies”, which does help set them apart (to the degree that this is accurate).
Towards the bottom of the home page scroll the agency mentions the following: “A small and focused team providing unparalleled quality in every detail, each step of the way. Each project is led by a partner who works directly with you.” It would be nice to see this statement dropped in right after the top of the fold to provide some measure of an RTB to support the agency’s claims of being one of the top firms in this space. Not that this in and of itself is unique, but it would at least provide some support for the superiority claim the agency makes – and make the prospect feel better about the agency.
Ideally, it would be good to see some mention of the agency’s approach or technical chops to further validate the claim as well.

Legitimacy

Instills confidence in agency?

Overall, SFCD does a nice job of leaving the prospect with confidence that the agency is capable of doing a very effective job addressing the prospect’s needs.
The agency’s case studies are very thorough in outlining the specifics of what they did/created for each of the clients with case study background. The fact that the agency picked apart each assignment suggests to the prospects that SFCD will leave no stone unturned in solving the client’s challenges.
The agency also did a nice job of weaving in testimonials and performance metrics as the prospects works their way down the home page scroll.
One suggestion is to take the agency’s logo block and move it directly under the top of the fold and the RTB language recommended above. This will help more immediately establish credibility given the recognizable brands showcased. Prospects will more quickly feel good about the SFCD brand.

SFCD’s site is consistent in its presentation of content and its look/feel.

Easy to navigate?

Generally speaking, the site is fairly easy to navigate. There are some UX issues, however, that should be addressed.
When a prospect dives into nTara’s healthcare case studies, for example, the prospect has to go back up to the top of the case study in order to move anywhere else on the site (e.g., back to healthcare case studies). A simple fix would be having the case studies open in a separate tab (or give the prospect the option to “return to healthcare case studies”) so prospects can more easily “re-start”.
In addition, we feel the blog functionality isn’t super great. The prospect has to jump through a “contact us” section before they can navigate to another blog within the section they are reviewing. It’s assumed that this was intentional, but it’s likely a bit annoying for a prospect.
And as noted below, the “About Us” section needs some work as well.

All of their case studies share results, which is a great thing. No issues here.

Clarity

Gets to the point?

Overall, nTara’s site is very crisp and clear in its communication which makes it easier on the prospect to get what they need and learn about nTara.
The agency’s home page is crystal clear, as one example. The page says who nTara is, what kind of work they do, who they most often work for, and what they do for their clients.
Prospects likely really like the fact that they can roll out of the home page and into their core verticals, making it easy for them to find their home, so to speak.
One thing a prospect might find confusing is the page that appears when they click on the “About Us” tab.
It would be a cleaner presentation to just have the “Who we are”, “Meet the team”, and “Our partners” present on that page, versus showcasing “featured partners” on that page. Just seems to get in the way of what the prospect wants to learn about the agency.

nTara has done a nice job of carving out a positioning in the multi- channel space.
The agency also does a nice job of zeroing in on specific categories where this positioning manifests itself.

Legitimacy

Instills confidence in agency?

Overall, prospects visiting nTara’s site will likely walk away feeling really good about the agency’s ability to perform at high levels for their brand.
The agency does a great job of creating a sense of legitimacy by pointing prospects to landing pages for each of their three core categories.
The landing pages talk about the knowledge nTara possesses in the specific category and why the work the agency does is important to that category. nTara also rolls nicely into thought leadership pieces about the category and then case study validations that show how the agency has helped clients solve some of the problems mentioned at the outset of the landing pate. Nicely done!
Only suggestion is to move the logo block below the landing pages (on the home page) given all the services offered by nTara aren’t really any different from any other agency – or so it appears. So, dropping those to the bottom shouldn’t affect the prospect’s perception of the brand.

Consistency

Tells a cohesive story across site?

Everything seems to hang together pretty well on the site, with the exception of the “About Us” page.
The client spend requirements information seems to come out of nowhere. There is a repeat of the logo block and services on the page (which appear on other pages on the site), so things just get a little confusing in this section.
Prospects visiting this page are likely feeling like this page was set up as kind of a catch-all. Cleaning this up should help clarify what nTara is trying to present.
